Nato must save Albania from…NATO

Should Albania be offered NATO membership at the Bucharest Summit, then Tirana would win, but Albania would lose. NATO membership is the cornerstone of Tirana politicians, and without it the entire corrupt edifice they’ve build would fall. NATO membership is the closer of the 2 milestones which Tirana has used to lull the people of Albania into the lethargy of submission. It is for this reason that the leadership of the Socialist Party of Albania has sent a letter to NATO asking them not penalize Albania for the Gerdec goombas. It is because it hopes in NATO membership that the SPA is holding off until April 4-th any public rallies calling for the resignation of their doppelganger Sal Ram Berisha.

Any reasonable Albanian therefore, should hope that, for the time being, Albania be denied membership to NATO. Then let the pieces fall where they may. One thing is sure: these pieces wont be from the charred remains of poor peasants, but from the Cavalli clad carcasses of the vile creatures that have infested Tirana’s government buildings.

Of course the wild card here is Greece. It would do the Albanian people a great favor if it used its veto against both Albania and FYROM-ia, but it appears only FYROM-ia will get the short end of the stick. Greece has given Albania its ‘curse’ as a blessing in disguise. “Thou shall become a cook for NATO, and I shall suck you dry”

Nationalists are finally vindicated

It was with great pleasure that I read Foreign Affairs Magazine  most recent cover article. Being transplanted into multiethnic societies I could see the horror in their face when I spoke of the ethnic reality of the homeland. It appears they bought in too easy into the corporate driven, lowest common denominator motto “You are what you consume”. I vividly remember an article I had to read back when I was in business school. As they were preparing us for corporate leadership they had to teach us what is best for the corporation. “Mighty is the Mongrel” read the title of the article assigned to us as reading for the day. In a few words, the article made the case that the mongrel spends more, and it is a more desirable human from a corporate perspective.

Needless to say, I disagreed.

“Brain Farts” Amerikane

Sot në marrëdhëniet shqiptaro-amerikane ka një asimetri destruktive, që konsiston në atë se këto marrëdhënie kanë një dimension optimal politik dhe ushtarak, por në aspektin ekonomik SHBA, partneri kryesor strategjik i Shqipërisë ia ka dhënë Shqipërinë me nënkontraktim Greqisë që ta mjelë si një lopë.

SHBA mund të mos jenë partneri kryesor ekonomik i Shqipërisë, por ato mund ta orientojnë Shqipërinë kah një vend perëndimor fqinj si Italia, që nuk ka synimet e Greqisë për ta mjelë atë si lopë, ose ta orientojë në partneritet ekonomik me disa vende perëndimore. Anomalia në marrëdhëniet sovjeto-shqiptare, kur Shqipëria i ishte dhënë me nënkontraktim Jugosllavisë, vazhdoi katër vjet (1944-1948), ndërsa anomalia në marrëdhëniet amerikano-shqiptare, kur Shqipëria i është dhënë me nënkontraktim Greqisë vazhdon prej 11 vjetësh (1997-2008). Kjo situatë absurde pa precedent në marrëdhëniet ndërkombëtare të SHBA nuk mund të vazhdojë gjatë.

Mos i ngri nervat Kac Myftarajt. He’s a spook.

Një gjë shumë kurioze në karrierën e Mihal Delijorgjit është se ai, kur shkoi si emigrant në Greqi, edhe pse nuk ishte veçse një njeri që veç shkollës 8-vjeçare kishte bërë një shkollë dy-vjeçare për ekskavatorist, megjithatë në Greqi bën një kurs 1 vjeçar për… filozofi antike greke?! Është e qartë se ky ka qenë një kurs i shërbimit sekret grek.
